Lotusse was founded in 1877 in Inca, Mallorca, by Master Antoni Fluxá Figuerola, at a time when the town was emerging as a center of footwear craftsmanship. After returning from war, Fluxá brought with him new ideas and a broader vision of shoemaking, combining local leatherworking traditions with innovative techniques. From its earliest years, the brand focused on quality and precision, initially producing men’s shoes and later expanding into women’s footwear at the beginning of the 20th century. This commitment quickly allowed Lotusse to grow beyond Mallorca, reaching key markets such as Barcelona and establishing its reputation for excellence.
Today, Lotusse continues to embody the values instilled by its founder: respect for craftsmanship, thoughtful production, and long-lasting design.
